About the Company: Workshop Recruitment is a well-established entity in the construction sector, focusing on delivering high-quality civil engineering and groundwork solutions.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Operative to join our expanding team. Our client, a family-owned enterprise with over three decades of expertise in the construction domain, caters to a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing various groundwork tasks including foundations and basement constructions.
  • Engaging in formwork and constructing retaining walls.
  • Performing underpinning and working on sea walls and coastal defenses.
  • Involvement in piling and gabion construction projects.
  • Managing drainage systems and working with reinforced concrete and slabs.
  • Cleaning and preparing construction sites for upcoming projects.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A valid full driving license and personal transportation.
  • Possession of personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, steel toe cap boots, hi-viz clothing, and gloves.
  • Relevant plant tickets (CPCS and Dumper Tickets).
  • A minimum of three years' experience in groundwork operations.
