Senior Commercial Gas Engineer

Salary: £43,000 to £60,000 with overtime at 1.5x rate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance: Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on commercial gas systems to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Repairs: Identify and rectify faults in gas systems and appliances, ensuring minimal disruption for clients.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on commercial gas installations and appliances.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and clearly explaining maintenance and repair processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all tasks are executed in accordance with current health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise records of all completed work, including reports on inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Training and Development: Keep abreast of industry advancements and participate in training sessions as necessary to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Must possess relevant gas safety qualifications, including Gas Safe Registration and ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (e.g., COCN1, CODNCO1, TPCP1).
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
  • Education: Relevant technical or vocational training in gas engineering.
  • Driving License: A valid UK driving license is required, as the role may involve travel between sites.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical acumen and hands-on experience with commercial gas systems.
