About the Role

Lead the Way in Data Management

As the Head of Data Management and Foundation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data management strategy that encompasses data quality, cataloguing, metadata, and lineage. You will lead a team of data management specialists who will partner with the business, technology, and architecture functions to manage critical data entities across their lifecycle.

About You

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Comprehensive leadership experience in establishing a data fluent organisation through the design and delivery of an effective data foundation, including data governance and quality.
  • Extensive practical experience with data modelling and data architecture, alongside experience in data foundation and governance.
  • Experience in taking stakeholders on the journey of change, being the bridge between technology and the business, and influencing decisions where needed.
  • Knowledge and experience in data management technologies and advancements, and understanding capabilities.
  • Experience in various data governance, quality, and cataloguing tools, including Databricks.
  • Experience with implementing Cloud-based data tooling, especially Azure.
  • DAMA certification is highly desirable.
