We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to join our team at JSS Search. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the full finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial results.
  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of group financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and support to the CFO and senior management team, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and drive performance improvements.
  • Lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Proven experience in a group finance role.
  • Demonstrated management experience, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team of finance professionals.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and thorough knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
