About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Acquisition Specialist to join our Buying department in our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily direct delivery paint orders, POS, and associated store queries
  • Key in price changes and minimum stock levels for promotions
  • Assist the Senior Buyer in product selection, including Wallpaper
  • Responsible for some own sub-categories, managing the critical path, chasing samples, and processing shipping documents with accuracy
  • Manage product set up and order placing, creating codes, updating product information, and communicating with suppliers and the Merchandising team
  • Liaise with Far East and UK suppliers, following up from supplier meetings and range reviews
  • Create artwork briefs for own label products
  • Liaise with marketing, social media, and the web team to provide samples and relevant information to highlight DIY products
  • Sample management
Requirements
  • Currently in a Buying Assistant or Assistant Buyer role looking for additional responsibilities and development
  • Creative eye for detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Strong Excel experience is essential
  • Computer literacy to include working knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
