About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our Responsive Repairs Team, covering our homes in Manchester. This is a permanent position working full-time, 39 hours per week.

Candidates must be a qualified Plumber and demonstrate a level of competence in other trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance work to a high standard, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and legislation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Make decisions and solve problems, seeking advice when required.
  • Operate safely, taking into account environmental circumstances and potential risks.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable competence in the primary trade of Plumbing.
  • Experience in multiple trades, enabling the completion of repairs at the first visit.
  • Proven ability to work in a customer-focused environment, meeting performance targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in the social housing sector.

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognized competency in the required trade.
