Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

Permanent – Full Time – 37 hours per week

This is an exciting new opportunity to work alongside a prestigious 'blue chip' retailer, developing a new course in partnership, lecturing, and assessing adult students. You will be welcomed and supported in a large, diverse engineering department with excellent facilities and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and assessing practical engineering maintenance subjects, supported, and underpinned by theory delivery for both Levels 2 and 3.
• Developing and delivering innovative engineering courses in partnership with industry.
• Working collaboratively with the engineering team to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

Requirements:

• A Level 3 Qualification in an engineering, mechatronics, or maintenance discipline or a professional industrial qualification within the sector.
• Relevant industrial experience and a positive approach to working in innovative ways.
• Desirable: teaching/mentoring experience and a commitment to professional development.
