Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our Medical Team at The Children's Trust as a Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing expert care and support to children with acquired brain injury and neurodisability.

Main Responsibilities

As a Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality medical care and support to children with acquired brain injury and neurodisability
  • Leading and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Participating in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Full GMC registration and a licence to practice
  • CCT in Paediatric Neurodisability, Community Paediatrics, or General Paediatrics
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in Paediatrics, with a strong background in Paediatric Neurodisability
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
