Position Overview

Children's Care Services - Child Welfare Specialist

Randstad is excited to collaborate with a dedicated team focused on the welfare of children in care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Child Welfare Specialist to join our efforts in making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting in-depth evaluations of children in care to assess their individual needs, risks, and strengths.
  • Creating and executing tailored care strategies aimed at promoting the well-being and development of children.
  • Establishing strong, trusting connections with children and young individuals, ensuring their perspectives are acknowledged and their requirements are fulfilled.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, external organizations, and foster caregivers to provide comprehensive support.
  • Offering advocacy and assistance to children in care, guiding them through challenges and transitions.
  • Maintaining precise and current documentation of evaluations, care strategies, and interventions in accordance with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid qualification as a Social Worker registered with the relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrated experience in a social work capacity, particularly within child and family services, with an emphasis on children in care.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with children, families, and professionals.
  • A solid understanding of applicable legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
