About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Havering. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a fundamental role in supporting children with severe learning difficulties, such as Autism and ADHD, to achieve their academic goals and grow their social confidence.

About the School

The school is an outstanding primary school that specializes in children with severe learning difficulties. It has a holistic approach to teaching and is oversubscribed. The school has a dedicated SENDCO team, including experienced psychologists and ASD specialists, who will provide you with the necessary support and guidance.

Job Summary
  • Support children in Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups
  • Aid children in achieving their academic goals and growing their social confidence
  • Have support from the SENDCO team, specifically experienced psychologists and ASD specialists
  • Full-Time position working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm
  • £470 per week based on PAYE basis
About You

We are looking for an individual who has a minimum 2:1 in Psychology from a top 20 UK University and has previous experience working in a SEN school. You should be passionate and resilient, with a willingness to make a positive impact on students' mental, emotional, and academic skills.
