Site Manager Job Description

Maxim Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage site operations, including health and safety, productivity, quality, and commercial output.
  • Assess the quality of work delivered by sub-contractors and assist the quality manager with QA sign-offs.
  • Attend daily meetings with management and other trades to discuss project progress and address any issues.
  • Manage the productivity of site personnel and push projects towards completion.
  • Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and partners through regular site meetings and daily briefings.
  • Compile and implement installation, repair, and maintenance programs.
  • Assist with surveys and manage specialist sub-contractors.
Requirements:
  • SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • Full 3-day first aid training.
  • Black CSCS Card – Management & Professionals.
  • EUSR – Water hygiene certification.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
