We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our team at GLG Vets in Luton, Bedfordshire.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the health and well-being of animals in the community.
You will work in a full-time or part-time capacity, with only 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9am-4pm.
The lack of any out-of-hours or Sunday work means that we are able to maintain a very healthy work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality veterinary care to animals, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions.
- Perform surgeries, administer vaccinations, and offer general healthcare advice to pet owners.
- Lead a team of veterinary professionals (if applicable to leadership roles).
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow vets and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Veterinary degree and registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Experience in small animal practice preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
- Commitment to providing excellent client service and animal care.
