Service Desk Administrator Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of instruments returned from clients and users.
  • Accurately perform calibration of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Oversee asset management, including tracking, documentation, logistics, and shipping of products.
  • Address technical inquiries and application-related questions from Fluke Reliability clients.
  • Supervise Service Engineers and manage equipment rentals.
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage stock in the stores.
  • Assist in organizing the workshop in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the department and enhance Health & Safety protocols.
  • Engage with customers to manage reminder programs aimed at boosting revenue.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.
  • Utilize Fluke's CRM system (Salesforce) to track service targets and generate reports.
  • Analyze productivity metrics, provide recommendations, and implement process enhancements.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and prepare quotations as needed.
  • Support the sales coordinator with order processing and invoicing tasks.

Required Experience

  • Qualifications in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience are essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, marketing, or product management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in database management, reporting, and analytical skills is required.
  • Background in industrial products, sales, and training is preferred.
