Job Title: Personal Support Assistant for a Young Adult
Are you a caring and dedicated individual eager to enhance the lives of young adults with Autism? We are looking for a supportive assistant to assist a 19-year-old male with Autism in engaging with the community, participating in leisure activities, preparing meals, and fostering independence skills in the Leeds 17 region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Meal Preparation
- Providing Domestic Support
- Facilitating Social and Recreational Activities
- Encouraging Independence Skills
- Preferred experience with autism spectrum disorders
- Availability for 3 hours weekly on weekdays and 5 hours on weekends during term time
- Availability for 5 hours daily on weekdays and weekends during school holidays
- Flexibility and access to personal transportation, ideally with a private vehicle
- Possession of a full UK driving license
- Comprehensive training on Autism and Asperger's will be provided
If you are a student or someone working during school hours seeking a fulfilling role, this opportunity may be ideal for you. A DBS check will be conducted.
Compensation:
£12.40 per hour on weekdays and £15.44 per hour on weekends
Schedule:
Weekday evenings: 3 hours per week
Weekends: 5 hours per week
