About the Role

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Figbury Lodge in Poole, Dorset. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess residents' needs and develop personalized care plans to enhance their quality of life
  • Champion independence and personal choice, promoting autonomy and dignity
  • Oversee medicine management, ensuring safe and effective administration
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Support and mentor colleagues, promoting a culture of learning and development
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse qualification and NMC registration
  • Experience in elderly healthcare, preferably in a care home setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing workload
  • Flexibility to work bank shifts, including evenings and weekends
