Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Science, preferably with a placement year during their degree.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Product Development team in the development of new products from concept to launch.
  • Conduct research on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to support the product development process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Production to ensure successful product launches.
  • Assist in the management of product specifications, documentation, and compliance with relevant food safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure key milestones are met.
  • Provide administrative support to the Product Development team, including data entry, report preparation, and meeting coordination.
Requirements
  • A degree in Food Science or a related discipline is essential.
  • A placement year or relevant experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly within product development, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
