About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire, a leading provider of care and supported living services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our customers with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing, clinical, and personal support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met within a safe and caring environment.
  • Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and record-keeping in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
  • Lead a team of support staff, prioritizing and planning tasks to ensure the smooth management of shifts.
  • Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
  • Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
  • Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
