Key Responsibilities

This role primarily focuses on delivering customer support for school finance systems, with the potential to advance to a more proactive, expert-level support role over time.

Our software support agents have clear pathways for career advancement, moving into roles in training, consultation, software implementation, technical project management, and management within the organization.

We provide flexible working options and extensive ongoing training for all new employees.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Helpdesk Manager.

Core Duties

The responsibilities associated with this role include:

  • Handling a diverse range of customer requests, from simple inquiries to complex issues, communicated via phone, email, or online platforms.
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge as the software develops.
  • Utilizing your expertise to troubleshoot technical problems and escalate them to higher support levels when necessary.
  • Taking ownership of each customer issue or request, ensuring effective communication to keep customers informed throughout the process.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring that clients feel valued and satisfied while maximizing their use of the product.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with current school finance software and essential processes, ideally as a school bursar, business manager, or finance manager.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
