We are seeking a dedicated Grounds and Hot Tub Maintenance Assistant to become a valuable member of our team at Darwin Escapes. This role is based in a beautiful retreat setting and offers an hourly wage of £11.44.
This is a full-time and permanent position, requiring 40 hours of work spread across 5 variable days. The role includes on-call duties as part of a rota, which may involve weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Support the maintenance team in ensuring the upkeep of facilities and guest accommodations.
- Address maintenance requests from guests promptly.
- Participate in renovation projects and assist with scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Complete necessary documentation related to repairs and maintenance activities.
- Help clean and maintain hot tubs during changeover periods.
- Work alongside the grounds team to uphold the retreat's five-star appearance.
- Assist with lawn care, including mowing, edging, and weeding.
- Ensure the grounds are kept clear of debris and well-maintained.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance or groundskeeping is beneficial. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills are highly valued. A valid driving license is essential for operating site vehicles.
