Thegradcafe is a leading provider of heavy equipment solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer - Field Service Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer - Field Service Specialist to provide technical support and maintenance services to our customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, and will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers, including diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts
  • Conduct site visits to assess equipment condition and provide recommendations for maintenance and repair
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve equipment performance
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills through training and professional development

Requirements

  • Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained (NVQ Level 3 preferred) with experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operating systems and diagnostic tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Valid LDV driving license
