About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Arc Partnership, a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and SCAPE. As a key member of our Structural Services Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality structural engineering designs and consultancy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver structural engineering designs and consultancy services, demonstrating expertise in spatial coordination, technical design, and specification writing.
  • Provide specialist advice and support to ensure compliance with statutory and Health & Safety requirements, relating to structural integrity and ground investigations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery, on schedule, to budget, and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential problems, finding innovative solutions to achieve project goals.
  • Communicate and collaborate with diverse clients and multidisciplinary teams to support brief development, feasibility studies, and project delivery.
Requirements
  • A portfolio of experience working as a Structural Engineer in an engineering or multi-disciplinary practice.
  • Technical expertise in structural engineering designs, drawings, and condition surveys, working as part of a design team.
  • Experience of working to RIBA work stages, project deliverables, and ensuring budgetary control and meeting deadlines.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (BSc) or MSc in Structural Engineering.
  • A high expectation of performance, drive for continuous improvement, and ability to contribute to a high-performing team.
