Job Title: Support Learning Assistant

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Support Learning Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Flintshire. As a Support Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students, working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with their learning, providing individualized assistance and guidance as needed
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in education or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
