Brio Digital is a leading digital solutions provider partnering with a renowned not-for-profit scientific software firm based in Central Leeds with hybrid working available.

They develop innovative software solutions, including data sharing platforms, to enhance safer and more reliable testing within the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sector.


About the Role:

As a Technical Solutions Expert, you will play a pivotal role in designing and integrating the technical architecture of the company's products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions that meet business and member requirements while ensuring adherence to company standards and consistency across products.


Key Responsibilities:

• Developing scalable technical architecture designs, defining functional and non-functional requirements, and translating them into technical specifications while minimizing risk.

• Working closely with the delivery team, providing guidance to ensure all best practices are followed.

• Documenting technical architecture designs across all domains and ensuring compliance with architecture processes.

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of value-adding technological advances and processes in line with the company's current and future needs.

• Collaborating with the Architecture team to develop appropriate standards, roadmaps, and design patterns.


Requirements:

• A degree-level or higher qualification in a relevant discipline, such as computer science or software engineering.

• Strong technical architecture experience, including the delivery of software architecture designs and IT architecture frameworks and methodologies.

• Experience in system integration and interoperability with cloud computing services.

• Thorough understanding of relevant architecture concepts, including desktop, web-based, and microservices architectures.

• Detailed knowledge of programming concepts, software development, and SDLC, including security controls.

• Knowledge and experience of working in an Agile environment.
