Job ResponsibilitiesWoodlands is a specialist Level 2 purpose-built neurorehabilitation facility, rated as GOOD by the Care Quality Commission. We support up to 26 patients with acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, severe neurological conditions, complex stroke, and spinal cord injury. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality and intensive neurological rehabilitation, behavioural management, and complex disability assessments.
Our neuro-specialist team consists of a Junior Doctor, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Technicians, specialist Nurses, and Rehabilitation Assistants. You will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are adhered to at all times and that risks are continuously assessed and managed.
What You'll HaveThe successful candidate will have a wide-ranging knowledge of specialist neuropsychological assessment and treatment of adults presenting with complex, acquired neurological disorders. You will have extensive experience in delivering individual therapy and helping non-psychology team members work with individuals who have experienced an acquired brain injury, coupled with good team and leadership skills.
