Workshop Fabricator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Fabricator to join our team at a leading UK manufacturer of staircases, balconies, and steel/glass structures. This is a permanent position offering an hourly rate of £ dependent on experience, working Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm with overtime available during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • High-quality sheet metal fabrication work within a production environment and wider operations department
  • Fabrication and welding of mild steel and stainless steel
  • Building subcomponents using jigs then fitting to pre-assembled machine skeletons
  • Working from manufacturing drawings
  • Collaborating with a highly skilled and qualified welding team
Requirements:
  • Fully skilled in architectural metalwork fabrication
  • Ability to read engineering drawings accurately
  • Capable of welding/fabricating mild steel and stainless steel
  • Ideal experience in sheet metalwork and coded welding
  • Demonstrable experience of working to exceptionally high personal standards, taking pride in the quality of work
