Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and tenacious B2B Field Sales Representative to join our rapidly growing specialty chemical manufacturing business. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar B2B sales role, with a track record of developing and executing sales strategies to grow product sales performance and profit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and further develop existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, etc.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of competitor status, products, activity, pricing, market trends, marketing techniques/activities.
  • Represent the company at industry-specific events and remain knowledgeable of key market and industry trends.
  • Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities and meet agreed objectives.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years B2B sales experience in the chemical industry with a manufacturer or distributor.
  • Degree qualification in chemistry/chemical engineering or related technical subject.
  • Experience/knowledge of the full 360 sales process is an advantage.
  • Knowledge/experience in the field of surfactants, antifoam agents, silicone emulsions is desirable.
  • Valid UK Driver's License essential and willingness to travel up to 50% of your time to meet customers.
