Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor / Fee Earner to join our team at Bond Turner. As a key member of our Dispute Resolution department, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of housing disrepair claims, from pre-litigation to settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims, including pre-litigation and post-litigation matters.
  • Deal with and draft various interlocutory applications, including those related to housing disrepair.
  • Liaise with Counsel and provide clear instructions when necessary.
  • Work independently to manage cases from instruction to settlement.
  • Deal with complex cases, including those involving small claims, fast track, and multi-track proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housing disrepair is essential.
  • Target-driven with a focus on exceptional client care.
  • Confident in working to targets and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant housing conditions case law.
  • Ability to provide high-level client care and work efficiently as part of a team.
