We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant / Divisional Accountant to join our team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all data imported into our financial system, Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring accuracy and integrity, and liaising with the Data Analyst daily.
- Regularly reconcile all customer accounts across revenue streams, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Raise sales invoices and coordinate supplier accounts, maintaining meticulous records and producing self-billing invoices.
- Manage cash flow, including weekly payment runs, receipts, and payments, as well as cash flow forecasting and analysis.
- Perform end-of-month balance sheet reconciliations, working closely with the Group Management Accountant.
- Prepare profit and loss statements tailored to the Energy Services Division, assessing financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Produce budgets and forecasts in line with Group reporting requirements.
- Liaise with the Finance Manager to oversee overhead allocations for the division.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives aimed at enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key trends and recommendations.
- Part Qualified or Qualified by experience or actively studying.
- Recent experience in a similar role, preferably in an SME organisation.
- Ability to multi-task with ease.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work with all stakeholders at all levels.
