About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Site Manager / Foreman to oversee the construction of a new road and layout for a well-established and reputable civils contractor. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, groundworks, and drainage, with excellent knowledge of construction management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the construction of a new road and layout, including major road works, earthworks, groundworks, excavation, drainage, ducting, foundations, subbase, and surfacing.
  • Manage subcontractors to prioritize work and ensure the site team adheres to quality standards.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and ensure effective communication throughout the project.
  • Ensure the site team meets the client's demands and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • NRSWA – Street works certification.
  • CSCS certification.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of groundworks, drainage, ducting, and surfacing.
  • First aid certification.
