We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at a successful and growing food and drink manufacturer in Taunton. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a small team and overseeing the production process to ensure high-quality products are produced efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage a small team of production staff to achieve production targets and quality standards
  • Oversee the production process to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste
  • Monitor and control production costs to meet budget targets
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high-quality products
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement process improvements

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role in the food and beverage manufacturing industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a small team
  • Ability to work flexibly, including early morning starts
  • Good understanding of quality control procedures and principles
  • Forklift license an advantage but not essential
