The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for providing a warm and friendly welcome, ensuring a seamless check-in process, and assisting guests throughout their stay with any queries or requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, as well as processing payments and handling guest complaints.
- Assist with room reservations, cancellations, and modifications, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
- Operate hotel reservation systems, including check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and guest information management.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Ability to work well under pressure, be flexible and adaptable to changes, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience working in a similar role, with knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems.
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in using software such as MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
