Electrical Engineer Opportunity at Dalkia UK

Dalkia UK is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at our client's main campus in Woking. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks in accordance with set schedules.
  • Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize operational effectiveness and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation associated with mechanical and electrical aspects of PPM and plant.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance issues and service desk requests.
  • Coordinate visiting specialist sub-contractors for mechanical and electrical aspects of PPM schedules.
  • Respond to call-outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with mechanical and electrical services aspects of the contract.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of electrical, lighting, and distribution systems.
  • Carry out Legionella control duties in line with L8 and the Dalkia manual when required.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.
  • Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Full induction, training, and uniform provided.
  • 25 days' holiday, holiday purchase scheme, birthday holiday, pension, and enhanced maternity and paternity pay.
Working Hours and Location:

The role will be based at the client's main campus in Woking, with some travel required to various client buildings in the area. You may also be required to travel further on business-critical occasions.
