About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to support a prestigious client in the legal sector. As the Embedded Security Operations Coordinator, you will work closely with the Senior Regional Security Manager (UK/EMEA) and the Associate Director of Facilities Services to plan, organize, and oversee the day-to-day security operations in the client's London office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Policy Development: Enhance and maintain written security policies, procedures, and programs to include Access Control, Alarm Response, and Emergency Response Plans.
  • Training and Support: Provide support to ensure consistent standards relative to the preparation and training of emergency evacuation and crisis teams.
  • Security Assessments and Mitigation: Identify vulnerabilities by conducting assessments and develop appropriate security measures to improve the protection of personnel and activities of the client.
  • Access Control Management: Work with the Firmwide Physical Security Team to manage the access control platform, perform audits of badge records, and coordinate access levels for personnel.
  • Vendor Management: Manage access control vendors for projects involving new system installations, upgrades, and modifications of existing and future office locations.
  • Technical Security Systems: Conduct ongoing functionality testing of technical security systems, identify system malfunctions, and troubleshoot issues with vendors.
  • Emergency Response: Provide support to local personnel in response to emergency situations such as fire and evacuation, medical situations, and workplace violence.
  • Incident Documentation and Investigation: Document security-related incidents and assist with investigations that impact the client.
  • Special Functions and Events: Coordinate and manage security services for special functions, including access and protection of guests.
  • Security Program Support: Support other security programs, including Emergency Communications, Global Intelligence, and TravelRisk Management.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain positive relations with vendors, business partners, law enforcement, and professional associates.
  • First Responder Relationships: Manage local first responder relationships, including serving as the primary point of contact with local law enforcement.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience: Extensive experience in asset/facilities management, managing workforce, and development of security policies.
  • Corporate Security Experience: Experience working in security in a corporate environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Communication Skills: Possess tact, sound judgment, and ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
