About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support residents in their own homes. As a Bank Worker, you will work with residents to ensure they are achieving their legal and civil rights, inclusion, independence, and choice.

Day Opportunities Service

The Sherard Road hub is based in the heart of Eltham with good access via public transport and is open 09.00am-16.00pm, Monday to Friday. The service currently provides both daytime and evening support and activities to a maximum of 50 adults aged years old who have learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support residents to achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Work with residents to develop and implement individual support plans
  • Provide support and guidance to residents to enable them to make informed decisions
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities
  • Good understanding of the needs of adults with learning disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
