Position Overview

Job Role: IT Support Specialist

Location: Halesworth

Compensation: £24,000 - £30,000 annually

Cooper Lomaz Recruitment is collaborating with a company located near Halesworth to find an IT Support Specialist. This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, where you will be delivering onsite assistance to both manufacturing and administrative teams.

Position Summary: In this role, you will merge your expertise in application support and general IT assistance, working with their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure the uninterrupted operation of their IT infrastructure, while also contributing to the enhancement of ERP functionalities. The ideal candidate will become part of a well-established IT department, providing 1st and 2nd line support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for all technology-related inquiries.
  • Deliver 1st Line support concerning the organization’s software, hardware, and ERP system.
  • Support the broader IT team in maintaining the organization’s infrastructure, networks, and servers.
  • Oversee IT systems and report any potential issues or malfunctions that may occur.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Experience with ERP systems in an IT capacity.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in the IT field.
  • Background in a service desk or 1st line support environment.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL scripts for data extraction from SQL Server.

Compensation & Work Environment:

  • This position requires 100% onsite presence, and due to the location, having a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is necessary.
  • Salary range is £24,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
