About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Marie Curie UK team as a Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care. As a key member of our community-based palliative care service, you will work alongside a Clinical Nurse Manager and Senior Nurse to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with terminal illnesses and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in their own homes, focusing on symptom management, pain control, and emotional support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on palliative care, end-of-life care, and bereavement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements, ensuring that our care is responsive to the needs of our patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and research studies to enhance the quality of our care.
