Position Overview

Munters Data Centre Technologies, a leading manufacturer in the field of data centre cooling solutions, is in search of a proficient and meticulous HVAC Service Engineer to manage the service and upkeep of critical cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute precise, timely, and high-caliber service, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC systems, adhering to company standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Respond to service requests as directed by management.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to address after-hours emergencies, ensuring compliance with specified performance indicators.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment, following Munters or third-party specifications.
  • Diagnose faults in equipment, identifying defective components and root causes of issues.
  • Perform repairs to meet factory standards.
  • Complete quoted work within the defined scope and budget.
  • Operate responsibly in a mission-critical environment.
  • Adhere to all relevant industry regulations, including Health & Safety and F-Gas compliance.
  • Follow Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) for all tasks.
  • Provide detailed service and maintenance reports using the company’s service management software.
  • Identify service and maintenance opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • Support colleagues in different geographic areas when workload demands.
  • Work independently when necessary.
  • Offer insights and feedback to the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) department for ongoing product enhancement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to relay field feedback as needed.
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements as well as security protocols.
  • Assist other teams with project engineering and technical support as required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Formal qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, HVAC, or Mechanical/Building Services.
  • A minimum of four years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and Refrigeration/DX Systems, including controls.
  • F-Gas Certification.
  • Experience with Air Handling, CRAC/CRAH Split & VRF Systems.
  • Experience with adiabatic cooling and chillers is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
