Job Title: IBA Accounts Handler

We are seeking an experienced IBA Accounts Handler to join our team at ENS Recruitment. As a key member of our accounts team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our clients' insurance businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash matching and allocation
  • Preparing statements for underwriters, clients, and third-party accounts
  • Chasing outstanding premiums and requesting breakdowns for un-reconciled receipts and allocating to entries once received
  • Preparing payment runs for clients and underwriters and submitting to directors for approval
  • Running fortnightly credit control reports
  • Dealing with bank, client, and broker queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Filing of all relevant documentation, such as bank statements, remittance advices, and correspondence
  • General office duties, including answering the telephone, scanning, and filing
Requirements:
  • Strong numerical and literacy skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) or similar software applications
  • Knowledge of Brokasure
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize, and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers, and other associates
