About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer at GBS Global Applied Knowledge. As a key member of our Operations Function, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional student experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Student Support: Provide high-quality administrative support to students, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Enquiry Resolution: Respond to student enquiries in a timely and accurate manner, providing detailed information on available support services.
  • Communication: Develop strong relationships with students, staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex issues, applying sensitivity and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the Customer Services Team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft systems and excellent general IT competence.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize work demands, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze, follow-up, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a Higher Education Institution or customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Higher Education processes and operations.
