About the Organization:

Ark Schools Central is on the lookout for a Senior Geography Education Leader to become an integral part of the senior leadership team within the department. This position is pivotal in defining strategic direction, core principles, and enhancement strategies. The Senior Geography Education Leader will oversee educational technology training initiatives and coordinate training schedules to ensure optimal execution.

Position Title: Senior Geography Education Leader

Location: West London

Employment Type: Permanent

Work Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: £40,000 to £55,000 (commensurate with experience)

Role Overview:

The Senior Geography Education Leader will be instrumental in promoting departmental and educational technology advancements by collaborating closely with the Systems Support Team and the Project Management Office. Key duties include managing both internal and external training assets, mentoring colleagues, and facilitating the deployment of the Bromcom Management Information System across Primary educational institutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with teams to enhance departmental and educational technology practices
  • Engage with stakeholders to pinpoint areas for improvement
  • Effectively manage training delivery resources
  • Assist in the implementation of the Management Information System across Primary institutions
  • Guide and develop team members
  • Collaborate on initiatives aimed at service enhancement

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education
  • Proven experience in leadership within training and development
  • Proficiency in Management Information Systems, particularly Bromcom MIS
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • Capability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication abilities
