Senior Cook

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cook to join our team at Scout Adventures. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team to deliver high-quality food preparation and service to our diverse range of guests.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Train and lead volunteers to follow Scout Adventures catering standards.
- Prepare and cook a range of nutritious meals to meet the dietary needs of our guests.
- Serve food to a high standard and ensure allergens and dietary needs are catered for.
- Manage kitchen stock and place orders as needed.
- Plan kitchen rotas based on business needs.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a large kitchen, preferably in schools or mass catering.
- At least 2 years of experience managing teams.
- Experience training and managing junior kitchen staff and volunteers.
- Level 2 Health & Safety and Food Hygiene qualification required.
- First Aid qualification is desirable.
