Sonderwell is seeking a compassionate and skilled Complex Care Assistant to join our team. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including peg feeding, oral suctioning, oxygen therapy, and epilepsy/seizure management.
- Assist clients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with medication management, including rescue medication.
- Build strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements:
- Experience in providing care to individuals with complex needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
