About the Job

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Backline Logistics Avonmouth. As a night trunking driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various clients in the Avonmouth area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a Class 1 HGV vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Deliver goods to clients in a timely manner
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reports
  • Liaise with line managers to communicate any issues
  • Adhere to road traffic and working time regulations
Requirements:
  • Class 1 HGV license with a minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Maximum 6 points for minor offenses
  • Experience of driving all types of trucks
  • Good knowledge of customer service
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights
Benefits:
