Chemical Process Technician

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Blender to join our team at B & V Chemicals. As a Chemical Blender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of our chemical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sign off COSHH assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Batching off products to meet quality and quantity standards
  • Learn and implement relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain product consistency
  • Stay up-to-date on new products and formulations to ensure accurate blending
  • Understand drum sizes and container types to ensure correct product handling
  • Carry out IBC inspections to maintain product quality and safety
  • Implement spillage procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Liaise with dispatch to ensure timely and accurate product delivery
  • Ensure stock rotation is completed regularly to maintain product freshness and quality
  • Order materials from suppliers to maintain inventory levels

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of health and safety standards and regulations
  • Previous experience working in a chemical factory or similar environment
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
