Job Opportunity: Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Haematology/Oncology)

The shift pattern for this position is rotational, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment.

We are seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or trainee ANP to join our Haematology/Oncology team at the Schiehallion Unit and Daycare. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and treatment to patients across all age groups, working autonomously to diagnose, manage, and prescribe as needed.

The trainee course is in conjunction with Napier University, with completion expected within 2 years. We welcome applications from motivated and dedicated individuals who share our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, providing care and treatment to patients across all age groups
  • Diagnose, manage, and prescribe as needed, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior staff members

Requirements:

  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner or trainee ANP qualification
  • Registration with the relevant professional body
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
