The Role: Procurement and Contracts Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement and Contracts Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes and contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Procurement Manager and buyers in establishing best practices for non-trade procurement (NTP) across Superdrug and Savers.
- Develop and maintain templates to streamline tender, quotation, contract management, and internal control processes.
- Enhance the functionality of our contract database, internal control outcome trackers, and project planner.
- Contribute to cost savings and efficiencies by optimizing commercial agreements within Superdrug and Savers.
- Promote best practice guides for NTP procurement across both brands.
- Develop and implement the function's communication plan, taking ownership of various initiatives and maintaining the procurement pages on our internal intranet.
Supporting Business Operations:
- Assist different departments in setting up and managing tenders, quotation processes, and category/supplier management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide reports on NTP spend and contract status.
- Generate ad-hoc analysis and reports for procurement buyers and executives upon request.
- Facilitate and administer the fortnightly UK Investment Committee (IC) meetings, managing agendas, timings, document circulation, outcome documentation, tracking, and notifications. Prepare monthly updates on contract management progress.
