About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our management team at Voyage Care. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in leading our supported living services in Titchfield and Porchester, providing day-to-day support to individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, conduct supervision and appraisals, develop and update care plans, order medication, and manage finances.
  • Work closely with the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of life of the individuals we support, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive team environment, fostering a culture of growth and development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a supported living or care setting.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, individuals, and families.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
