Generator Service Engineer
**About the Role**
WB Power Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Generator Service Engineer to join our team. As a Generator Service Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance on diesel generator sets to ensure optimal performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Diagnose and address electrical and mechanical faults promptly, executing necessary remedial repairs with precision.
* Perform Load Banking and mains failure testing on-site as per customer requirements.
* Stay updated with relevant training and development to enhance technical expertise.
* Time served as generator engineer or qualified to NVQ level 3.
* Familiar with electronics & mechanical components (including engines and Alternators).
* Be willing to work overtime, including mid-week, weekend shifts, and occasional overnight stays as needed.
* Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
* Any experience in a mobile engineering position is attractive.
* Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
