Position Overview:
We are seeking a Corporate Tax Finance Lead to become a vital part of our dynamic team. This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility between office and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
In this multifaceted position, you will oversee tax compliance and reporting functions executed within Liberty Shared Services (LSS) for our diverse clientele across the Liberty Global network.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing tax obligations across various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to complex regulations and compliance requirements.
- Collaborating with accounting, tax, legal, and treasury teams to align our objectives and enhance service delivery.
- Preparing and reviewing tax computations and provisions for both UK and international clients, ensuring accuracy in quarterly and year-end calculations.
- Acting as the primary contact for customer service delivery, fostering strong stakeholder relationships while driving continuous improvement through technology and automation.
- Mentoring and guiding junior tax team members to ensure seamless collaboration with other teams and accurate representation of tax technicalities in returns.
- Engaging with clients' tax and accounting teams to understand their operational needs and technology frameworks.
- Optimizing organizational structures to minimize risks and errors while expanding the LSS Tax team's reach to new clients.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Chartered Accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CTA, or equivalent).
- Post-qualification experience in corporate tax compliance and reporting, either in industry or practice.
- Familiarity with UK tax matters, including CIR, CFC, Hybrids, R&D, and Group Payment Arrangements.
