Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join their legal team as a Paralegal specializing in property law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload daily, overseeing all elements of the property transaction process from initial instruction through to completion, registration, and file closure.
  • Receive instructions, maintain precise file documentation, engage with clients and third parties, and execute various tasks. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents such as Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Exchange and Completion letters, general correspondence, and necessary forms for Land Registry and HMRC.
  • Conduct Precompletion, Land Registry, and Conveyancing searches with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all required documentation and funds are prepared for exchange and completion.
  • Handle Post Completion tasks, including preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry, managing Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, closing files, and verifying account ledgers.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • This role is ideally suited for candidates with experience in a property law environment.
  • Strong communication skills, effective time management, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are critical for success in this position.
  • Self-motivated individuals who can work independently or collaboratively within a team are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Case Management Systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, is advantageous but not mandatory.
